WEITE Multi instrumentalist Nick DiSalvo of ELDER also loves to play the drums and does so in the band Weite. The band members, amongst who also ELDER guitarist Michael Risberg and the Berlin-based English guitarist Ben Lubin, share a collective love for 60s and 70s psychedelic music, krautrock, jazz and listening to one motorik beat for 20 minutes straight. Trance inducing minded, the band moves from mellow to intense repetitive sounds, with abundant guitars and epic synths on top of often jazzy drums.
