Blue Cheer is a San Francisco-based rock group of the late 1960s and early 1970s, their sound is
blues-based, psychedelic, and loud. The band's first two albums,Vincebus Eruptum and Outsideinside (1968)
are very influencial records and Blue Cheer even had a hit with Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues"
from their debut album.
In 1988, Blue Cheer, featuring the original singer/bassist and drummer, started gigging again.
Their last release was What Doesn't Kill You..., (2007), and the band is currently touring extensively.
